Natural ways to PREVENT HAIR GREYING.

2 Main ways to prevent hair greying :-

  1. .... By taking sufficient amount of vitamin B12.
  2. .... By having the enzyme catalyse which break down H2O2.
1) VITAMIN B6-B12


  • Vitamin B-6 and B-12 are two of the Complex-B vitamins that aid in healthy skin and hair. ... It is purported that when Pantothenic Acid and folic acid are taken together it helps reverse graying by taking the hair back to its original color
  • Doctors say low level of B12  can cause lessening of hair pigments, which causes greying 
Foods containing high B12



  • 1) Drink six ounces(28.35 grams) of fresh amla juice every day or massage your hair with amla oil one time each week. Amla is also known as Indian gooseberry
  • 2)Black sesame seeds (Sesamum indicum). Two to three times a week, eat a tablespoon of black sesame seeds to slow down and possibly reverse the graying process.
  • Beef, liver, and chicken.
  • Banana along with its peel(1-2)
  • Fish and shellfish such as trout, salmon, tuna fish, and clams.
  • Fortified breakfast cereal.


  • Low-fat milk, yogurt, and cheese
  • Egg




2) CATALYSE ENZYME

When our skin produces hydrogen peroxide in larger amount it causes oxidation of hair follicles, resulting in greying of hairs. To neutralise this enzyme an catalase is released which prevents oxidation of hair melanin (melanin provides hair it's colour) 
Some foods containing catalase :-
broccoli,

kale,

cucumbers

radishes


celery
.
coconut oil

3 grams of ashwagandha powder a day for a year increased the amount of hair melanin in middle-aged men.
